We have had some lovely emails commenting on our previous festivals and we really would like to thank you for all the positive comments plus some really helpful advice which we always take on board. It is messages like these that make all the hard work worthwhile.
We hope you don’t mind us sharing them but they were just too good to keep to ourselves.

Our first visit was more than we hoped for – lovely location, friendly people (did you see the security people smile and dance?), big loos and delicious food. We loved it. Other people can do spas but we’ve booked in again for next year to chill out once again …. Oh, and the music. What a privilege to hear such a range of musicians through a fabulous sound system.

Similarly, because of the nature of the event, I also took time to speak to as many of the performers as I could. Some, like Peter Knight and his Gigspanner colleagues, Simon Nicol, Ric and Vo, Marian Fleetwood and her Jigantics friends, I had met at events in Oxfordshire where we live, others I met for the first time. But that for me summed up the event -

well priced drinks, the organisation, the music between acts the friendliness,the well maintained toilets. We were so sad to leave and look forward to next year.

It's a testament to how enjoyable it is when renowned artists who aren't even playing come along and pitch their chairs alongside everyone else!
